111 reviews for Jarvis Street Self-Catering Cottage – up to 4 persons

  1. We had a wonderful visit. The property exceeded our expectations (from what we’d seen online). The cottage is breezy and has nice light, and with four levels it was easy to spread out. The kitchen was well appointed and we enjoyed eating on the patio. Jarvis Street and the neighborhood are charming and convenient, and Henk and Guido set us up nicely.

    Abu Dhabi, UAE

  2. A superb experience! The cottage was clean and spacious, in a wonderful area of Cape Town – walking distance to all the main sites. Guido and Henk were very helpful, suggesting some great restaurants!

    Bath, U.K.

  3. A great place to stay in Cape Town! De Waterkant is a really nice area with lots of bars and restaurants. The apartment is fantastic. A lot of space for 4 people. Great bathrooms, good kitchen and a nice place to sit outside. Felt like being home!!

    Utrecht, the Netherlands

  4. Do you feel like a holiday or perhaps a weekend away? Well, Purple House/Noon Day Cottage is the place to be, from the service, near attractions, convenience.

I can spend the whole day writing but to cut the long story short. Please visit Purple House/Noon Day Cottage and you will soon be their regular client like I’m planning to do.

  5. NDC review Kim and Nicola from Cape Town/Madrid/Paris: Loved our stay. Such a nice lively area and wonderful hospitality!

  6. This house in the Waterkant district was delightful and spacious. We found it to be beautifully furnished (but not too pretty that it could not handle older children), clean and light-filled.
The location is in a fantastic neighborhood of shops, restaurants and excellent food. Walk to everything, including the waterfront. Guido was fun, charming and a total pleasure to be around. He could not have been more helpful with the house. Perfect

  7. Very lovely accommodation with everything needed, shops to buy groceries nearby, nice quarter to go out, close to Waterfront which is within walking distance.
Henk and Guido: very nice, warm and pleasant hosts who give you the feeling of being home. Was my second time (first stay was at the B&B) and just loved it.

    Wadersloh, Germany

  8. Noon Day Cottage is a lovely mix of modern comfort and old world charm. It is located in a very central area with shops, restaurants, cafes and clubs, but the area retains a charming historic feel.
From the cottage you can readily walk into the city, the gardens or the Waterfront. If you are a lover of eating out and clubbing this is a great location.
Henk and Guido are the most perfect hosts you would wish for.
