  1. Fantastic stay, lovely place. Great area. No negative point, may be only the shower in the small bedroom. It was not working that well. Cold & hot temperature were difficult to adjust. But for the rest: perfect!

Comment Purple House: The problem reported with the hot and cold temperature in the shower in the small bedroom was caused by relatively low pressure of the hot water from the geyser. We therefore have now installed a new geyser with higher pressure.

  2. Thank you very much for having us. Very nice place and in a nice area. We really enjoyed our stay.

  3. A very well situated luxury living with walking distance to several city sights, such as V&A and the city center. An excellent SPAR grocery store right around the corner. The hosts, Henk and Guido, happily helped answer all our questions. We’d love to stay in the Noon Day cottage again!

    Helsingborg, Sweden

  4. A wonderful cosy place in the attractive area around the Waterkant. We had chilled nights on our terrace and there was absolutely nothing missing – and if so, Henk and Guido helped us and made our trip unforgettable. Go there and just experience Cape town at its best…

  5. What a great stay! The apartment is awesome, great location, close to a lot of good food places, right next to a mall, 10 minutes from downtown, and very big & luxurious. Also, Henk and his partner are soooo friendly and helpful.

  7. We definitely come back and that says everything! One friendly notice only, the windows at the front bedroom could be replaced by new ones with double window panes because occasional noise from the street we considered the only disadvantage and it is unfair for the place itself.

Thank you for your hospitality, your warmth and your valuable tips.

    Mykonos, Greece

  8. Very spacious and comfortable accommodation in a nice neighbourhood with some good restaurants in the immediate surroundings. Also the touristic interesting Bo-Kaap and Waterfront are at walking distance. We would certainly recommend this apartment to our friends.
