Perfect choice to enjoy Cape Town
De Waterkant is a great location, lots of really nice cafes and dining places nearby and much more character than V&A. Hosts really friendly and helpful – Henk got up at 6.30 to make sure our cab to airport arrived. The property is very comfortable with plenty of space and a great roof terrace. Great place to stay in Cape Town and fully recommended.

Tolles Stadthaus in super Lage von Cape Town
Wunderbares, schickes Stadthaus (145 Waterkant Street) in einem tollen Stadtviertel von Cape Town, gute Lage zur Innenstadt und zur V&A Waterfront, sehr gepflegt, gute Ausstattung, tolle Dachterrasse. Guido hat uns sehr nett begrüßt und uns viele Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt gegeben. Es gab rein gar nichts zu beanstanden. Es war schön, nach unseren Unternehmungen zurück ins Haus zu kommen. Absolute Empfehlung!

What a wonderful time we had at this beautiful home. It was very nice to arrive from the airport and have the day to relax and recover from Jet lag. The Taxi service that picked us up and took us to the airport were excellent. The house had a helpful book with suggestions for dining and areas of interest. We made use of the washer in the home as well. There is a wonderful café 2 doors over which was wonderful for coffee and breakfast. Although we had some internet issues the last night, they were very accommodating and offered use of their wifi at another location. The issue was due to an outage in area. I would highly recommend this home and the area.

Luxury Home from Home in Cape Town
We stayed at the 145 Waterkant Street House for almost a week. We could not be happier with the house, service, location and our wonderful hosts. So many lovely little extras, well equipped, beautifully decorated, very comfortable and an amazing roof terrace with stunning views. The location is perfect, nestled into an area of brightly painted period homes, trendy coffee shops/roasteries, nice shops and restaurants; while also remaining peaceful. Both the centre of town and the waterfront area are 10-15min walk away or $2-3 in an Uber. You could not ask for better hosts who are amazing, very friendly and helpful.

Warm and friendly, amazing apartment
Guido and Henk were exceptional hosts who welcomed us to Cape Town like friends. We received great advice as to restaurants etc and breakfast on the terrace was tasty, comprehensive and a great start to our trip. We then moved to Emma’s self-catering apartment which is fabulous, with everything you need including an even more AMAZING roof terrace! The neighbourhood is cute, hip, convenient and we felt very safe. Highly recommended.
