Check-in and Check-out
Guests are welcome to check in to their accommodation between 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm on the day of arrival. The address for check-in is 23 Jarvis Street. Late arrivals can be accommodated by prior arrangement only. Guests are required to check out by no later than 10:00 am on the day of departure.
Payment
A deposit of 50% is due within five days of the reservation. The remainder is due on the day of check-in. Payment can take place by credit card, by Electronic Fund Transfer or in cash.
Smoking
For the comfort of our guests, Purple House is a non-smoking accommodation establishment.
WIFI
Internet access is available in each of the properties for your convenience. Access up to 100 MB per day is free of charge. Usage higher than 100 MB per day will be charged to the guest at cost price.
Valuables
Purple House on Jarvis cannot accept liability for loss of or damage to any valuables or property belonging to guests or their visitors. It is therefore the sole responsibility of all guests to make arrangements for adequate insurance coverage on all valuable items prior to arrival at Purple House in Cape Town. This includes but is not limited to, photographic equipment, laptops or other electronic devices, jewelry, cash and vehicles.
General Indemnity
Whilst every care has been taken by Purple House to ensure the safety of guests and their possessions whilst enjoying our accommodation, Purple House does not accept liability in the event that any loss or damage to persons or property is experienced by a guest.
Right of Admission Reserved
Purple House on Jarvis at all times reserves the full right of admission and accepts no liability for any loss or damage that may result from the legal and reasonable exercising of such rights. Should Purple House at any time need to exercise this right, no reimbursements or refunds will be made in this regard.
The properties are available for private use only. Non-paying guests are not allowed unless prior permission has been obtained.
Cancellations and No-shows
Cancellation Policy: If the cancellation is made more than 28 days in advance no cancellation fee will be due. If the guest communicates the cancellation between 28 days and 1 day before the stay, a cancellation fee of 50% will be applied. If the guest cancels less than one day before arrival or fails to arrive, a cancellation fee of 100% of the entire amount will be applied. Changing dates of a reservation is subject to the cancellation policy. We recommend that you take out insurance against cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances. For bookings longer than two weeks, made more than 6 months before the arrival date, different payment and cancellation conditions will be agreed with the guest. We reserve the right to not refund card fees (transaction costs) in the case of any cancellation where funds need to be reversed back to a credit card.

In these Terms & Conditions Purple House consists of the Purple House self-catering accommodations. The company is traderegistered in Cape Town as Sound Initiatives cc under number 2010/021625/23.
